The camera series is based on variable camera electronics, low power consumption, advanced circuitry, and an extremely rugged design with an excellent signal quality at the same time. The user can choose between color or black-and-white systems, high-quality CCD sensors by Sony and Kodak with megapixel resolution and various interfaces (FireWire/IIDC compatible, CameraLink, GigE).

The digital Kappa camera systems comply with the highest standards and offer outstanding Kappa-specific technological highlights, as for example: rugged construction, excellent highly linear signal quality, extraordinary signal-to-noise ratio, camera-internal real-time color signal processing, long-time exposure and optional a second serial interface, camera-internal signature function with crypto-chip, image memory, etc.
