NIS-ELEMENTS METALOIron software helps industrial customers to analyze metal samples such as steel, aluminum and also other samples such as graphite fiber and textile. The analysis will be based on the national standards like JIS and ASTM.

Main Features
• The Grain Sizing software option analyzes automatically the grain size based on ASTM E1382, E112 and JIS G0551.
• The Cast Iron software option analyzes automatically the cast Iron based on ASTM A247 and JIS G5502.
• The Cast Iron software option calculates automatically the ferrite ratio and the pearlite ratio.
• Image processing such as contrast, threshold setting, closing holes can be adjusted at the optimum condition. The result of the adjustment can be seen simultaneously.
• The analyzed result can easily be corrected manually: For example, the boundary of the grain can be adjusted or the grain size can be restricted.
• A macro for grain boundary detection, graphite detection and for measurement method can be created and stored.
• The analysis and the measurement work both with live image and with stored images.
• Analysis on several images is possible.
