Digital Sight 10
Digital Sight 10

Product information

Equipped with CMOS sensor technology perfected in Nikon's DSLR cameras.

The Nikon FX full-frame CMOS image sensor enables immediate capture of high definition images. The Digital Sight 10 camera enables unprecedented high resolution of 6K and switching between color and black and white images with one and the same camera. The powerful camera also has a fast frame rate for, for example, fast focusing via the high-resolution live image.

Full-frame CMOS image sensor for immediate one-shot recordings of large areas
The large field of view of 25 mm of the inverted and upright microscopes* enables microscopic images with a larger diagonal to be captured per shot. This means that, for example, composite overview images ("tiled images") can be created more efficiently, which, for example, reduces the time required for screening.

Capture the finest details with 6K pixel resolution and high image quality as easily as ever
Microscopic images can be captured at up to 6000 x 3984 pixels (23.9 megapixels), ideal for displaying and analyzing fine structures.

A frame rate that captures fast processes at the perfect moment
Digital Sight 10 is able to display live images of 6000 x 3984 pixels (23.9 megapixels) at a frame rate of 9 frames/second or 1920 x 1080 pixels (2.1 megapixels) at 66 frames/second. This makes fine focusing via the monitor, for example, easy and precise. By using the ROI mode, it is possible to limit a faster frame rate to randomly positioned image areas (ROIs).

Ideal for fluorescence microscopy where the display of large image areas and high resolution are required
The Digital Sight 10 camera achieves high sensitivity, which corresponds to ISO 200 in color mode and ISO 800 in monochrome mode. In both monochrome and color image capture modes, detailed fluorescence imaging with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio is possible.
