Talysurf® WRi PRO (Wide Range Inductive) shape and contour measurement system

The Talysurf® WRi PRO is a high-precision measurement system for analysing the contour and geometric shape of complex components. The core technology is based on an inductive probe system with a large vertical measuring range and high resolution, which was specially developed for demanding shape measurement tasks.

A key feature is the ball calibration routine developed by Taylor Hobson, which ensures exceptionally high linearity across the entire measuring range. This calibration method guarantees reliable and traceable shape measurement in accordance with international standards – ideal for the precise measurement of radii, angles, flatness, straightness and other shape-defining features.

The system offers a modular, customisable user interface that enables efficient integration into various manufacturing environments. The combination of high vertical dynamics, robust measurement technology and intuitive operation makes the WRi PRO particularly suitable for the metrological inspection of components such as cylinder blocks and heads, crankshafts, camshafts, sheet metal components and transmission parts.

Thanks to its large vertical measuring range and high data resolution, the Talysurf® WRi PRO is able to accurately capture both large-scale shape deviations and fine contour details in a single measurement run.
