The device can also be used with HSE Slips software to assess floor safety or precisely monitor manufacturing processes.

How It Works

A high-quality diamond stylus is drawn across the surface by a precision motorized traverse. Vertical displacements over peaks and valleys are detected by a piezoelectric pickup and converted into electrical signals. These signals are digitally processed to calculate the roughness parameters directly and according to standardized methods.
