The Talyrond® 1700 PRO integrates proven Taylor Hobson technologies into a highly stable measurement platform designed for ultra-precise analysis of large, heavy workpieces.

At the core of the system lies a high-precision hydrostatic oil spindle, embedded within a rigid base, capable of supporting loads up to 450 kg. This unique design maintains exceptional rotational accuracy regardless of component weight—making it ideal for inspecting large bearings, engine parts, and other heavy precision components.

The robust column structure and vibration-damped foundation ensure outstanding mechanical stability, enabling accurate and repeatable measurements of key geometrical features such as roundness, cylindricity, straightness, and parallelism.

The system features integrated Talyvel® electronic tilt sensors that continuously monitor and actively compensate for any misalignment between the spindle axis and the column—maintaining parallelism at all vertical positions.

Control is provided via the Metrology 4.0 software platform, offering an intuitive user interface, real-time axis control, virtual 3D visualization, and advanced point-and-move positioning capabilities. These features allow for precise and efficient measurements, even in the most demanding metrology applications.
