Mantis Macro offers a straight through in-line view to the subject, similar in operation to a bench magnifier, though with increased optical clarity and magnification. Mantis Macro offers a comparatively high magnification for an in-line stereo viewer making it ideal for tasks which require exceptional hand-eye co-ordination and increased magnification.

Users are also able to view a greater area of the subject they are viewing with an extra large field of view, whilst long working distance allow for easier subject manoeuvrability.
